  9. article  is  much needed! Why? Because
  10. after reading and editing the articles
  11. for issue  43  of  Eurochart,  I  felt

  15. in the previous issue  was not good in
  16. my opinion. This is  a  shame  because
  17. people get tired of  that tone after a
  18. while and simply do not  want  to hear

  29. the same opinion regarding this topic.

  31. I have  heard that  some  people think
  32. the Eurochart should evolve and not go
  33. back to the elite days where everybody
  34. flamed everybody, something I can only
  35. agree with.  Why  spend  so  much time
  36. doing   that    instead   of   working
  37. together? »CL6:I  cannot  see  the point of
  38. wasting an article  with  this purpose
  39. in mind»CL1:. Christ, send the man a letter
  40. or an  E-Mail  if  you have  such  big
  41. problems with him. Why does  the  rest
  42. of the scene have to be a part of your
  43. problems! I  do  not  write  about  my
  44. daily problems in life! I do not think
  45. that   you   would   find   them  very
  46. interesting. This  is what  I  use  my
  47. close friends  for  whom I can contact
  48. via swapping or E-Mail and  since this
  49. form works out fine for my part, I  am
  50. sure that it would work out for you as
  51. well!

  61. If  I have  to  show you an example, I
  62. will  not have to search hard.  I  can
  63. give  you  a  great  example  from the
  64. previous  issue  of  Eurochart, Azzaro
  65. vs. Darkhawk  or should  I  say Azzaro
  66. vs. the Western scene. This was a good
  67. topic  at  first  and I enjoyed to see
  68. the  response  to it,  no  doubt about
  69. that,  but  no   one   can  take  this
  70. following flaming  serious! »CL6:I  thought
  71. that we had to do with grown-up people
  72. who have  tendency  to  make  childish
  73. things»CL1:! At least this is how I see the
  74. "common" scener  these days!  However,
  75. things started  to get personal or  at
  76. least  that  is what  I  learned  from
  77. those  articles  and  at a point I had
  78. enough   of  that.  So  I  decided  to
  79. exclude  those   from   the   list  of
  80. articles, I wanted to read.  The  only
  81. reason I know that Azzaro  wrote  this
  82. article for the  last  issue is that I
  83. edited  it  and  therefore had to read
  84. it.

  90. wisest move, since the debate started!

  92. But the Poland Vs. Western  is not the
  93. only  topic that cast shadows over the
  94. Eurochart  in  my  opinion. »CL1:The  story
  95. about  Devotion»CL1:   is   also  a  really
  96. annoying thing to  think about!  »CL7:Magic
  97. only used his article to flame certain
  98. sceners»CL1:,  who  is  not  important, but
  99. Magic, could  you  please  fight  that
  100. battle  via  E-Mail instead. We do not
  101. know the truth and  we might  not ever
  102. find  out  what  the truth is! Also in
  103. this issue  people  are flamed. Darkus
  104. has written  a  great  article  in  my
  105. opinion.  Go  read "The Devotion Saga"
  106. and see  what  he  is  trying  to tell
  107. people»CL1:! I  only  dislike  one thing in
  108. the article and that is the flaming of
  109. Magic!  If  the   things   Darkus  has
  110. written  are true, then  Magic  should
  111. start thinking about what he is doing!
  112. And if Darkus do not  tell the  truth,
  113. then he never  should have included it
  114. in the article! Frankly, I do not care
  115. what the truth is, and  we  cannot  be
  116. sure who is  telling the truth. I know
  117. what I think, but  I  do not have both
  118. sides of the story and I am  sure that
  119. if I ask Magic he  has  another story.

  125. Could it be that this  is  what people
  126. want? I  actually do  know  a  few who
  127. love to read such things and I suppose
  128. this is the reason  why people keep on
  129. reading   these   various   magazines.

  131. All   this   flaming  is  killing  the
  132. spirit.  We  do   not  need   personal
  133. flaming!  »CL6:However,  some  healthy, old
  134. group  flaming/wars harm  no one»CL1:. They
  135. can  sometimes  make  sure  that  your
  136. members  will   be  more  active.  You
  137. should remember  one thing; the  Amiga
  138. society is  getting  smaller  and does
  139. personal  flaming   really  help  this
  140. society to survive? Or  maybe  this is
  141. not what we all want?

  144. load  you  editor and start writing an
  145. article»CL1:,  I  am   sure   the  feedback
  146. will  be   much  more  positive  then.
